I’m Sheryl Browne, writing sassy, sexy, heart-wrenching fiction. I now have several books published and I'm super-pleased to share that my contemporary romance, The Rest of My Life, from Choc Lit Publishing is now available for purchase at WHSmith Travel stores!

In other news, Learning to Love – due for release June 14, is now on pre-order! I have to admit to being totally in love with the cover.

Sometimes helps comes from the most unlikely places ...
Isn't it just gorgeous? You can find out a little bit more about The Rest of My Life on my ‘News’ and 'Books' pages.
My thriller, Death Sentence - title kindly suggested by a Chief Constable, no less - is getting some fabulous reviews from a top Amazon Reviewers.

The Edge of Sanity, my previously published psychological thriller, has also received many excellent reviews and was shortlisted for the Crime, Thrillers & Mystery SpaSpa Book Award.

Finally, my latest thriller Sins of the Fathers has been submitted and it looks as if it might have found a safe home. Watch this space for further news on that. After a tumultuous few years, I am at last feeling proud of my writing endeavours. However, none of this would have been possible without the wonderful support of readers, book bloggers and reviewers, without which I would have given up. I can’t thank those people enough.

A little bit more about me...

Why is talking about yourself so hard to do? Ask me to talk about anyone else and I could talk the hind leg off a donkey, but fabulously interesting things about me...? OK, well, here goes: I’m an author, you might have gathered, and a school critique partner. I’m also a foster parent to disabled dogs, one or two of whom have featured in my books. You can find out more about my dogs, including my Pets as Therapy dog, who was rather unique, on my 'Furry Friends' page.

Deciding the balls I was already juggling weren’t humungous enough, I also embarked on an MA in Creative Writing at the City of Birmingham University. I’m pleased to say I  passed with commendation!

I'm a member of the Romantic Novelists' Association, the Crime Writers' Association and a contributing editor at Loveahappyending Lifestyle magazine. I also have a bit of penchant for men in bite-the-buttons-off blue uniforms, having been rescued by one such white-knight-in-blue when my car self-combusted on the motorway.

I must admit I'm a bit accident prone, which might make you wonder why I would attempt feats like this:

I'm the one underneath, by the way! But that's a story for another time.

I live in Droitwich in Worcestershire, with my son and partner and my odd dogs, and when I’m not passed out in front of my PC, I can be found messing about on the water in our little narrowboat, Aquaduck, which  I fall off, frequently, me being me.

Information about my books can be found on this site, so please do take a look around. Please also feel free to contact me – I’d love to hear from you, or take a peek at my blog to see what I’m up to.

Keep safe.
